Agency of the Moment: Acceleris Up for Major Industry Award

 
 
 
Acceleris has been shortlisted for a prestigious PRmoment Award in the ‘Not for Profit Campaign of the Year’ category for its work launching brand new disability organisation Purple.
 
Acceleris is credited for launching Purple, an innovative disability Not for Profit aimed at changing the conversation between businesses and the disabled community to help more than 20,000 disabled people find work and thousands of businesses become Disability Confident.  
 
To mark the formal launch of Purple in July 2016, Acceleris secured the opportunity for the organisation to open trading at the London Stock Exchange with support from autistic actor and Holby city star Jules Robertson. Its ongoing work for the consultancy includes creating brand, marketing collateral, website design, media relations, managing business events and generating direct new business opportunities.
 
This is the second major communications award Acceleris has been recognised for with its campaign with Purple following the agency’s triumph at the European PR Excellence Awards in Berlin last December. Here Acceleris won the Issues and Reputation Management title – the third time in four years the agency has won the award.

The PRmoment Awards celebrate excellence and recognise and reward outstanding campaigns and exceptional talent in the UK PR and Communications sector.
 
The winners of the northern awards will be announced at a ceremony taking place on 16 March at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester. The agency will be hoping to reach new heights and add to its collection of over 50 regional, national and international awards since it was formed in 2006.
