So, just what is @home?
The innovative @home portal is part of a wider communications strategy devised by Acceleris to serve the communication needs of the UK housing sector.
@home offers a unique, interactive tool for rich communication with and within tenant communities.The portal provides a range of communications channels, allowing the management organisation to talk to residents, residents to talk to the management organisation, and residents to talk to residents facilitating greater community cohesion.
The digital toolset you are about to view offers a complete web solution incorporating a fully featured website manager and specially designed modules that allow a tailored solution to the specific communications needs of your organisation.
For ease of demonstration we've split the system into two halves:
'Online communities' - these are the features that would be offered to your client base allowing you to offer improved communications through the internet. Introduced to existing websites or incorporated into completely new ones, @home opens up direct channels for news and information delivery to tenants and residents. It allows two-way dialogue via notice boards, blog sites, forums and online polls for gathering feedback and opinions and also empowers residents to create their own community sites.
'Website management system' - these are the tools that will empower your colleagues to extend the website, maintain content and monitor its progress. We think that this is much more than just a CMS system as it allows end users to add, update and remove entire sections. Many existing users have commented on the extensive features and ease of use.
