1. What is your role @ Acceleris?
Director
2. Name five clients you have enjoyed working on
I enjoy working with them all! You are speaking to a PR person remember.
3. Why do you love what you do?
Every day is different. I’ve run campaigns for major motor retailers, national law firms, high street banks, housing bodies, construction firms, Government organisations and national newspaper groups. Depending on client objectives, the range of tools you use changes each time – from hard hitting news stories or quirky PR stunts, to events, sponsorships, lobbying, crisis management, videos or online PR. This keeps it exciting - no two days and no two campaigns are ever the same.
4. Your ‘Hero’ hour? – this is a project or job in which you did something fantastic
The entire team had a hero month recently when we delivered a thousand-mile Blues Busters roadshow to raise a smile with commuters during the credit crunch, delivered a national housing awards ceremony for 500 people, produced and launched a safe car buying video in conjunction with the Met Police and Quentin Willson, and ran a Parliamentary event for 300 people – all in the space of three weeks!
5. Projects I am currently working on?
Liaising with the Housing Minister and TSA on a Best Practice Guide to celebrate innovation in the housing sector; launching an MBE (Made Better in England) award with motors.co.uk to help support the country’s motor industry; pitching our sports sponsorship expertise to a major sponsor of the 2012 Olympics and planning a media training session with the BBC.
