The Brief
In the late summer of 2007 the Yorkshire Agricultural Society appointed Acceleris to promote the 2008 Great Yorkshire Show. This year was the 150th anniversary of this famous Show and the marketing objectives were suitably challenging.
The brief was to position the Great Yorkshire Show as the National Agricultural Show.
We were targeted with raising total visitor numbers, maintaining the proportion of higher spending ABC1 visitors and, most importantly, increasing advance ticket sales.
Precise targets were set, a budget allocated and a strategy to meet these objectives was then created.
