The Brief
Aire Valley Homes (AVH) is a relatively new organisation with a limited media profile and competing with two other local housing organisations for exposure. Set up by Leeds City Council in April 2007, Aire Valley manages over 15,000 properties.
With the absence of an internal press office, the organisation identified the need to enhance a positive profile with local and national trade media prior to a critical inspection by the Audit Commission – the positive results of which would unlock further Government funding.
Objectives:
To gain a stronger profile in regional and national trade press for Aire Valley Homes, building new media relationships for the organisation
To support direct tenant communications and customer support through positive media coverage on its housing management services
To support the organisation’s goal of achieving a ‘two star’ rating by the Audit Commission for service
