ACCELERIS SUPPORTS NYNET IN BUSINESS PARK INITIATIVE

Business Parks in North Yorkshire to Benefit from High Speed Broadband
acceleris has launched a new campaign for client NYnet to provide business parks in North Yorkshire with a super-fast broadband service.
The new initiative has opened up NYnet’s high capacity fibre network to offer high speed broadband and internet services to the region’s business parks.
Providing PR support for the launch of the campaign, acceleris has secured widespread regional coverage, including substantial articles in the Yorkshire Post, York Press and Northern Echo.
Business Parks that join the NYnet network will now be able to benefit from the super-fast upload speeds and numerous internet services including VOIP (Voice Over IP) and reliable offsite data backup and recovery.
David Cullen, NYnet Chief Executive added:
“One of NYnet’s key objectives is to support and enhance the economic prosperity of North Yorkshire, a region that has traditionally lagged behind other parts of the country in terms of high speed internet access. Thanks to this Yorkshire Forward backed initiative, NYnet is now able to offer a high level of internet services and high speed broadband access to the private sector by supplying business parks directly.”
NYnet, which was formed in collaboration between Yorkshire Forward and North Yorkshire County Council with funding from the European Union, is tasked with providing an ultra-high-speed internet network to ensure North Yorkshire is not ‘left behind’ the rest of the world in the next phase of the internet revolution.
acceleris was appointed by NYnet in January 2008 with a brief to communicate the benefits of the NYnet advanced broadband infrastructure throughout the Yorkshire region.
