The Future of Social Housing - Meeting the Demand.

acceleris marketing communications underlined its experience in the housing sector by organising a housing ‘Question Time’ debate for clients law firm Walker Morris and regeneration specialists Keepmoat PLC.

Entitled "The Future of Social Housing - Meeting the Demand" the debate took place at the Hotel Du Vin in Harrogate during the National Housing Conference and attracted a high level audience of housing professionals from across the country.

The debate was chaired by Richard Wells of BBC TV and Radio and saw six experts in the field of housing form a discussion panel to answer questions from the invited audience.

The panel, which included the Chief Executive of the National Housing Federation David Orr, discussed a range of questions relating to the provision of social housing with a focus on the issues around new build and how to provide a sustainable future for the sector.

The panel also included:-
Michael Gelling - Chair Tenants and Residents organisations of England (TAROE)
Elizabeth Wood - Associate Solicitor at Walker Morris specialising in housing projects
Professor Chris Bovis - Director of Corporate Governance at Keepmoat PLC
Clive Betts MP - MP for Sheffield Attercliffe and Chair of All Party Parliamentary Group for ALMOs and Urban Development
Dr Tim Williams - Director Navigant Consulting’s Public Service practice
