League table success for agency
acceleris has shaken up Yorkshire’s traditional ‘Top Ten’ league table of PR agencies by breaking in at Number Seven based on figures from its first year of operation.
Business magazine Yorkshire Insider’s influential listing of PR agencies across the region, published this week, ranks acceleris as the 7th biggest agency in the region based on fee income.
The figures illustrated in the table are only those generated by acceleris's PR team and do not reflect the additional fees from our Digital, Media and other marketing activities which took the agency beyond the £1.25 million fee revenue mark in its first year. Overall, the agency, with its integrated marketing communications offering, has passed the £2 million income mark since it was launched 18 months ago.
The achievement is even more pleasing given that Acceleris was ranked above some of the longest established, national and regional agencies, including Golley Slater, Weber Shandwick, Green Communications, Cicada Communications, DIG and Finn Communications.
Peter Davenport, Managing Director of acceleris, says:
“There are some excellent agencies producing first-class work within the region so, it is very pleasing to have ranked so highly after our first year of operation. This result is primarily down to two things; the hard work, determination and commitment of our talented team right across the agency and the belief and support of our growing list of clients without whom such success would not be possible. I am delighted to say that at the half way stage in 2008, we are continuing our track record of financial growth and development, adding new clients, new staff and new services by the month.”
