Acceleris, the integrated PR and Communications agency, has picked up its second ‘Large Agency of the Year’ award in three months. The latest came at the Golden Hedgehog Awards held last night in Manchester in recognition of its work for clients in both the public and private sectors. Held in association with the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA), the awards recognise ‘outstanding campaigns and exceptional talent’ within the communications industry.
Acceleris, based in Harrogate but operating nationally was also crowned winner in the ‘Not for Profit Campaign’ category for its work with Leeds based charity, the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund which is fighting to retain services in Yorkshire under a national review. These awards follow the agency being named ‘Large Agency of the Year’ at the UK Public Sector Communications Awards in November.
Acceleris Managing Director Peter Davenport, said: “It is always rewarding to be recognised by our peers for the quality of our work and to win these awards so early into the new year cements our determination to build on the achievements of 2012. We have also picked up seven major new clients since the start of the year across a range of sectors which puts us well ahead of our growth forecasts for 2013.”
Commenting on our 'Large Agency of the Year' win, the judges said: "Acceleris has become recognised as one of the leading integrated communications agencies in the region with a broad national client base but also with specialist, niche skills and an expertise and commitment that is fuelling growth and development."
