Acceleris sets sights on more award success

Acceleris is in the running to add to its growing list of national and international award successes with nominations in four categories at the 2015 Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Awards for Yorkshire and Lincolnshire announced today.

The agency, with offices in Harrogate and central London, has been named a finalist in the Best Use of Media Relations’ and ‘Best Consumer Campaign’ categories for client Remade in Britain, the UK’s first dedicated upcycling website, and ‘Best Business and Corporate Campaign’ for its work with Rentplus, a dynamic, new, rent-to-own housing model.

The final nomination comes for the agency’s pan-European campaign for Europêche, the trade body representing fishermen and fishing organisations across nine different countries. The agency’s campaign, which incorporated website development, media relations, social media and events, is among the finalists in the ‘Issues and Crisis Management’ category.

Peter Davenport, Chief Executive, said: “These nominations are the latest in a string of successes for Acceleris. This week alone we have won a national award for our public sector work, picked up and extended contracts with major clients in both the public and private sectors, and delivered impressive results for clients across traditional and social media.

“To be recognised alongside some of the region’s biggest agencies is testament to the hard work and commitment of our team and we are keeping our fingers firmly crossed for the ceremony in November.”

Acceleris works for major clients in the private, public and third sectors around the UK. Last week it was named winner in the ‘Large Agency of the Year’ category at the UK Public Sector Communications Awards recognising its work within health, social housing and charity communications.
