Acceleris driving growth with new appointments in Harrogate and London offices
Acceleris, the multi-award winning PR and Communications agency, has announced five staff appointments in its Harrogate and London offices, as it continues its expansion following an array of successful new client pitches and awards success.
Zoe Hebblethwaite joins the Harrogate office as Senior Account Manager, bringing extensive in-house and agency experience at national and international levels. Graduates Katie Wadsworth and Dan Stead also join Acceleris’ Harrogate office as Account Executives after completing short-term placements with the agency’s Acceleris Academy, which provides internships and work experience for students.
Laura-Fay Shields joins the Harrogate team in a split role, working as both a Copywriter to support the continued growth of Acceleris’ specialist content generation division, Writers Inc., and as a PR Account Executive.
Acceleris’ London office also has a new face; Account Executive, David Mayers, joins the team after graduating from Leeds Beckett University’s Public Relations undergraduate course and undertaking a work experience placement with London Stock Exchange Group.
Chief Executive, Peter Davenport, said: “The new recruits bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the agency as we continue to grow and develop nationally and internationally. It is always especially pleasing when we find new talent among those students participating in our Academy programmes.”
The agency works for clients in the public, private and charity sectors across the UK and has carried out a pan-European campaign for a Brussels based EU trade organisation. In July, Acceleris was named ‘Large Agency of the Year’ at the prestigious UK Public Sector Communications Awards at The Emirates Stadium in London for its work in housing, healthcare, policing and the charity/not-for-profit sectors.
