Acceleris' Golden Touch Powers Purple to International Recognition
ACCELERIS SHORTLISTED FOR EUROPEAN PR EXCELLENCE AWARD
Multi-award winning communications agency Acceleris is once again being recognised as one of the industry’s best creative campaigning agencies by being shortlisted for a European PR Excellence Award for the fourth time in as many years.
Harrogate and London-based Acceleris is nominated in the Issues and Reputation Management category of the awards, which take place in Berlin on 8th December, for its campaign to launch disability employment agency Purple.
The agency won the award in Munich in 2013 and again in Stockholm in 2015 and this year it competes against global corporations including computer hardware company IBM and international supermarket Lidl.
Acceleris was tasked with naming and launching Purple as a revolutionary new consultancy service set on creating a more positive and mutually beneficial relationship between business and the disabled community. Purple aims to help more than 20,000 disabled people to find permanent jobs and enable thousands of businesses to become Disability Confident over the next decade.
Acceleris’ launch strategy covered brand, marketing collateral, website, video, events and media, catapulting Purple into the national business and disability agenda. This included Purple opening the London Stock Exchange on the day of launch, supported by autistic actor and Holby City star Jules Robertson.

The awards, in their tenth year, celebrate the best in European-wide PR and communications campaigns. Acceleris has already been crowned ‘Large Agency of the Year’ in the UK Public Sector Communications Awards this year and has won a total of 48 UK and international awards since its launch in 2006.
Acceleris is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2016 and works for clients in the public, private and third sectors across the UK and increasingly in Europe
