Acceleris has a wealth of charity communications expertise on the team, including campaigns designed to boost the profile of organisations or to raise funds for good causes through donations and corporate sponsorship initiatives.

We have carried out PR and marketing work for a wide range of organisations including maritime charities the Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society, Seafarers UK and The Royal Alfred Seafarers’ Society; cancer charities Yorkshire Cancer Research and Candlelighters; The Prince’s TrustChildren’s Heart Surgery Fund; The Zambia Society Trust and the Wheelchair Leadership Alliance.

Over the years we have delivered award-winning campaigns for these charities including services such as media relations, website development, social media, graphic design, event management and crisis communications.

While budgets in the sector are being squeezed, Acceleris’ expertise in fostering valuable corporate partnerships has helped good causes to raise their profile without breaking the bank.

Acceleris works with The Prince’s Trust, which gives practical and financial support to the young people who need it most by targeting those not in education, employment or training; young offenders; educational underachievers; and those in or leaving care.

The Trust helps to develop key skills, confidence and motivation through a range of programmes that enable young people aged 13-30 to move into employment, training, education, or volunteering. In 2015, it supported nearly 5,000 young people in Yorkshire and the Humber, with 77% of those young people experiencing a positive outcome.
