Experia Sensory

The client

Experia Sensory is a Yorkshire-based company that designs and manufactures sensory equipment to help treat children and adults with a range of physical conditions and learning difficulties.

The objective

Acceleris was tasked with developing a creative PR initiative to help raise the business’s profile in trade, regional and national media and to help generate new business enquiries.

What we did

To generate media interest and to create a strong piece of research to target new business prospects with, we carried out a nationwide survey to determine the extent to which UK airports are Autism-friendly.

Acceleris designed and carried out an in-depth survey of the UK’s 30 busiest airports to determine what assistance was available to assist passengers with autism.

Based on the results, Acceleris drafted a news story which was targeted at the national, disability trade and regional press around each airport. Acceleris shared the findings on Facebook and Twitter and created a dedicated infographic of the results (left).

To give the findings additional credibility and impact, Acceleris also secured the involvement of the National Autistic Society in the press story.
