The client

The NFA is the trade body that represents housing arm’s length management organisations (ALMOs)*, which, at their height, together managed nearly 1 million council homes across England.

The objective

Acceleris worked with the NFA from 2006 to 2015 to deliver communications activities to promote the achievements of ALMOs.

What we did

We delivered a wide range of services in order to achieve the required aims, from the NFA’s initial rebrand and production of its regular publications, to retained PR communications and running the NFA Awards programme. We also generated almost £300,000 in sponsorship to support the NFA’s work.

 

Results

The communications activity led to an established national identity for the NFA and a strong presence within the housing and local government sectors and in the press. By communicating the benefits of ALMOs to a political audience, the NFA achieved cross-party support in Westminster and is now recognised as the national voice of the ALMO movement.
